Although it's called a candy shop this place is a cool little american old skool diner. According to their menu, it was established in 1925 and has been through the Great Depression, periods of high inflation, 14 presidents, the roaring 20s, the rebellious 60s, the go-go 80s, the high tech 90s and the new millennium.Photos adorning the walls show celebrities who have visited at one time or another and movie posters boast a biography of films it has appeared in. The last time it was renovated was in 1948, so walking into this quaint little luncheonette feels like walking into a time warp.
This was my second time to the lovely Lexington Candy Shop but it definitely won't be my last.
