Just finished watching the closing ceremony of the Olympics. Impressive. I've got to say congratulations China for a job well done. Perfectly executed. Who cares about the pre-recorded singing and the CGI, everyone's guilty of that to some degree. Stop trying to pick faults World because China deserves a hats off for what they've achieved. However, on the other hand, I just saw the 'handover' ceremony to London for 2012 and have to say errr... they have a lot to do in 4 years. Boris Johnson - what an absolute disgrace. He's a joke, and really credit for 2012 should go to Ken Livingstone. And a double decker red bus opening to reveal a grass hedge with the London skyline. Come on! seriously?! Grey umbrellas, punks with pink hair, tossing of newspapers while at the bus stop? grey suits? is that what we have to look forward to? Placing Beckham there - talk about desperate. Jimmy Page rock-miming with Leona Lewis. It felt somewhat juvenile and cliched.London, I love you, but good luck you're going to need it.
