oh my god i feel like i've got so much to do i don't even know where to start. right, i know i've got to make a list, but it's going to be one hell of a list and that in itself is putting me off.i shouldn't even be writing this blog post - priorities marie, get them in order. now i'm going crazy talking to myself.the last few weeks have been pretty crazy - well ever since i got back from NY really, but I'll try to do separate posts to cover everything off. having a pretty lazy day today. i'm recovering, and my stomach too, from our massive cook-up last night. laura came round and we cooked up a storm.for our main we did this vegetarian dish, which had aubergines, courgettes, red peppers and mushrooms as a base (notice my adept use of British parlance - for those back home i'm sure you've figured out i mean eggplant, zucchini, capsicum and of course mushrooms are mushrooms wherever you are) . this was mingled with a saucey type thing which was made out of celery, tomato paste, garlic, onions, paprika, vegetable stock and pine nuts. yeh. the whole thing went in the oven and to top it off we sprinkled it with grated cheese and basil. it was deee-lishhh!!for dessert we got slightly adventurous and made passionfruit tarts. mm mmmmm. the recipe for this was meant to cater for 6 people, but we somehow managed to eat it all, so needless to say i'm feeling pretty stuffed today.
unfortunately we weren't that creative and had to follow a recipe book
ok it looks like sick now, but trust me in the end it tasted fabulous
