The last few weeks have been busy so I never got around to posting something on San Francisco. I had the opportunity to go to there for work but got to do a little sight seeing as well which was nice. Here's a pictorial of my travels:

the famous cable cars. these tram like things have no engine/motor in them. instead they are pulled along by an underground cable. each cable car is 'driven' by a grip man who manually chooses when to 'grip' the underground cable to move the vehicle or release the grip to let it coast along.
